- The we spend another 2 hours exploring the area – walking around or paddling, depending on the water levels.

Age Restrictions
There are no specific age restrictions for young children, as long as they can be accompanied by their parent in a tandem kayak or canoe. However, it is discouraged to bring young children along on very hot days, as this will create a less than pleasant experience for the kids. Please let Captain Robbins know during booking about any special needs or accomodations needed for your trip.
Seasons
The Three Sisters is a breathtaking and serene experience year round. Captain Robbins’ favorite times in this area are in the Spring and Fall. In May, the warblers are nesting. There are many other birds too, but these little guys are special. We also have Swallow Tailed Kites, Anhinga, Wood Storks, Great Blue Heron, and others nesting in the Springtime. Fall is a magical time of year to experience the ancient forests. November in particular is a beautiful month to experience the Ancient Bald Cypress, as this is the time of year when our leaves change colors. Once the leaves fall, the depth of view is spectacular. However, any time of year, you are guaranteed to fall in love with these waterways and their majestic forests.
